CSR9: A Film for Wetlands International

Wetlands International had a landmark scientific report to launch on an international stage, and they needed a film worthy of it. Kymera Media delivered the whole thing, from first budget to final master.

The brief
CSR9 is the 9th Conservation Status Report on migratory waterbirds across the African-Eurasian flyways. The film had to launch it at AEWA's 30th anniversary, making complex findings clear, emotional and ready to screen to an international audience.

What we did
We handled the whole production under one roof:

• Budgeting and scheduling
• Refining the script with Wetlands International
• Producing the footage: sourcing the right shots by working with other NGOs and organisations
• Editing and developing the visual tone, aesthetics and motion
• Sourcing a professional voiceover (Anthony Hewson)
• Sound design, polish and final delivery

The result
The film premiered in front of a large audience at the event in Geneva and was very well received. The client was thrilled, and the report's key messages landed with clarity and impact.
